I've got a number of perl programs I run fairly constantly. Right now I open up a tab in terminal and navigate to the directory and launch each one (one by one).
But ideally I'd love to setup up some sort of bash program or something that would launch the all the perl programs just by running that one bash program.
Is that possible? And is it possible to do that so it opens in tabs? (Or at the minimum new terminal windows?)
Thanks

I'm in knoxville and I made the switch from ATT to Verizon. Service is much better with Verizon and data seems to be a bit faster.

Ok guys I plan to sell my iBook and get myself a PB, which is why I am backing everything up on cd's. Well the thing is, when I first installed VPC it was a bit under 1 GB which could easily fit on my iPod with room to spare, but now its at over 4.6 GB and I don't have anything other than Kazza on it. There are no files for download or saved on windows, I just don't understand why it continues to grow in size when I use the get info feature. I disabled virtual memory for it to go faster but I don't see how that could cause it to go up 2gb and no I do not use IE so there is nothing in its cache or temp folder.

The front protector isn't in the best position. If I were to use scotch tape like the directions say should I have an issue with it sticking again?

What you need to do is get rid of "<img src="images/minahbw.png">". Instead put text there, with a description of what it is.
ex:
HTML:
<a class="rollover" href="images/Minah_sBusinesscard.pdf-1.jpg" rel="lightbox" title="Minah's Sweets Business Card">Minah's Sweets Business Card</a>
CSS:
a.rollover {
display: block;
width: 800px;
height: 100px;
text-decoration: none;
text-indent: -9999em;
background: url("webvamp.jpg") left top;
}
a.rollover:hover {
background-position: left bottom;
}
Create the "webvamp.jpg" and the rollover state below the exact image so that your image is actually 200px high and your just shifting the image up.

I have an apple sticker on my car. I'm thinking of getting license plates that say FF0000 since my car is bright freaking red. I'm aware that very few people will get this. :cool:

As USB is the fastest interface, despite the Gigabit Ethernet port, you are limited to USB 2.0, but it should be more than fast enough to record a stereo track, as PCM Stereo at 16 bit and 48 kHz only has a data rate of 192 KB/s.
Even though USB transfers data in bursts than as a constant stream, USB 2.0 with its maximum burst speeds of approx. 35 MB/s, USB 2.0 will do.

Go to the sorce:
www.apple.com/store
Or the many other fine outlets:
www.macwarehouse.com
www.maczone.com
www.macmall.com
I hate amazon.com they suck, and I even live in Seattle, HA!
You'll find that most Apple products (esp. their computers) don't neccerly will change price from one dealer to another.

Ok,
Got the thing working, thanks...
Back to this step: http://phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=PHP-Nuke_HOWTO&page=database-creation.html
But how would I actually "populate" the nuke.sql database? Do I have to move any files anywhere in order to accomplish this? Does the nuke.sql have to be in any specific folder?
Thanks for helping out a n00b so far!

I played the game from Beta (back when I was still a Linux user, yay for crossplatform games!) for about a year after launch. Was great until my crew started falling apart and then I realised how much the actual game was beginning to bore me.
I have many fond memories of the many months I wasted on that game!

Crucial is quite cheap: http://www.crucial.com/uk/mac/index.aspx 33.58 for the 4GB RAM from them if you buy the two 2GB modules separately.

So I am a stickler when it comes to each of my songs having the correct album cover, as that is how I change songs quickly when listening on my iPhone.
Recently, I added a new batch of about 15 songs, with album cover and all, to my iPhone 4. The album artwork appears in my iTunes, and in the iPod "app" on the iPhone. However, in the past, when I locked my phone as music was playing, the background of the lock screen would be the album cover.
This was so for all but the 15 new songs.
So as an attempted solution I removed all music from my iPhone, then readded it.
Now none on my album covers show on the lock screen! Even the ones that used to! :confused:
All assistance is appreciated to fix this saddening problem.
Did you try restarting your iPhone? Last week I added a new album and the artwork didn't show for it. After restarting, the artwork showed up fine.
