I'm debating either Main Place Naperville or Woodfield Mall. I haven't been to the Naperville store. Looking at the pics on Google Maps, is parking gonna be a problem?

The 400mhz iMac has no fans. Technically the only moving part is the hard drive, and that could be making a buzzing sound, although its usually more of a high pitched whine. The only other part that would buzz is the CRT or power supply, and those are usually not repairable. Replacement parts are also expensive.

Converting to a different format should render it inoperable as would burning to a CD and ripping it again.
I expect the vulnerability is only present in the mp3 format and converting also chops and changes the file structure. To see that in action, try converting a file from mp3 to flac and then back again. Then use the Unix diff command to see if you get the same file!

I am not sure what kind of PB you have but if it is 12" then you are maxed out (I think) I know that the 15" and 17" can have 2GB. Now if you have a 15/17" and want to max it out to gain speed I would not worry about it unless you are doing lots of RAM intensive things... If you are a TRUE multitasker and always have tonnes of things open then maybe it would be good. But what I would suggest is to open activity monitor over the next week and monitor RAM usage as well as page-outs to your hard drive to see if you are low on RAM. And remember that inactive RAM to OSX is just like free RAM so don't worry if most of your little pie chart is blue! If you are not low on RAM then adding more will give you no increase in speed. Well only the Apple keyboards have the Command key (has Apple symbol on it). However you can use a keyboard designed for Windows. I use Logitech wireless keyboards and mouse. You can get these far cheaper than the Apple products.
I think if needed and not automatically installed by Windows when the Magic Mouse is connected, the drivers for the Magic Mouse would be part of the Boot Camp drivers you need to install.

MySQL really should be run from a Server, or something that is on 24/7 with internet access.
The way MySQL works with PHP is you set a few variables (hostname, username, password, database) for PHP to use to connect. The hostname is whats most important here. If you did run MySQL from your computer, then you'd need a static IP address for that computer. Then you could simply set the hostname to that IP e.g. 192.12.123.52 etc.
I'd suggest looking for a host that already has MySQL/PHP installed, as it could potentially be much less hassle.

...I remember the cartoon on the powercc website when they lost their clone license. I should have saved it. :) Anyone have a copy? It was one of their trademark cartoons saying "OH #@!$@#$!" and it was up for a month I think.

Im running a mac mini late 2009 2.26 ghz 4gb ram, and my istat pro is reading 3.9 million page ins since i restarted this morning. I use my mac for web surfing, music, 1080p video/netflix, gaming (WoW).
Is this normal? Will this hinder performance?

It's normal and no, it won't hinder performance. Also, it's not a count of how many page in events occurred, but rather the amount of data moved. Page ins occur when your computer copies information (apps, documents, etc.) from the hard drive into RAM to work on it. It's the page outs and swap used that indicate whether you're maxing out RAM or not.

Do you have the link to the download? Maybe if you posted a link to the download on your site, or hosted the download on your site, people could play around with it to adjust settings to see if we can work together and get it to work.

Just like when purchasing TV's I think you would regret not having the 27" after the initial joy of purchasing a new iMac subsides. To me the extra $200 would not be a big deal for one of the best screens around. You'll get used to the navigation and in combination with adjusting tracking settings it will be amazing. That's what I did! Moving the pointer quickly to the side is not a pain and you will benefit from the increased space.

Why dont you try the Logitech MX900 BT Mouse? Its really handy and robust. You can even configure your side bottons to be used for expose :D

I don't have those arrows. Correct me if I'm wrong, but those only appear if you have too many tabs to display in the same window.
My problem is when I try to open another group of tabs, any extra tabs close. I have 8 websites that I like to check constantly, so if I re-open/refresh those tabs, anything else closes.
Anyone have any ideas?

I recently updated my IPhone 3G to the latest OS 4.2.1 and unlocked the device with redsn0w and so forth - and it works beautifully. Prior to this update , I had previously JB the device and had it running on t mobile - but it was always buggy and constantly freezing up on me.
As the result of this, I have not activated this Iphone with Tmobile service - as I wanted to see if I could run the IPhone with a free "voip sip" provider and using it in combination with Google voice and boxcar for example.
Though since I have added these apps like: Boxcar and a acrobit SIP client, it has been my speculation and question that currently I am not getting instant "push notifications" - which leads me to believe that this is the result of not having service ( is this correct? )
In the contrary , I have read many IPod touch users, having success using their Ipod touch as a Phone and getting instant notifications.
Finally, does anyone have any clues or suggestions, on how I can configure this Iphone in this method or if it is doable.
