I wonder when illegal can demonstrate, why can't we unite and organize some demonstartions to explain our frustrations and demands.
A lot of discussion happened on this topic in the past and the general consensus was that it will boomerang on us. We should not be demonstrating/protesting/demanding.

Get a non-availability certificate from the local municipal office and submit it to USCIS..on a safer side..

Or get the birth cert from Indian Embassy in US... They'll issue it based on her passport..
takes about 2-4 weeks... unless you can go and get it personally...

We went through the similar situation few weeks back. My wife's employer took her out of payroll for sometime as she could not get her EAD approved on time. But we had to convince the manger that the delay was infact the result of USCIS processing our application late and they checked our EAD application receipt notice to make sure that we applied beyond the 90 day mark . This would help immediate managers to make a decision infavour of us when in talks with higher-up's.
Also if the application has been pending beyond 75 day , USCIS would allow you to make expedite request.

what exactly does staying out of payroll involve? do they exclude the dates of unpaid leave on the paystub? do we need to fill up a new I9 form?

regarding the below question while using AC21
2. first join the new company using EAD, then ask the new company to apply for H1 transfer. will this work?
can somebody tell if there is any issue with this? as i mentioned, i havent used AP and existing i-94 still indicates H1b status (not AOS

Our Lawyer contacted National Service Center and got some inquiry number starts with WTCXXXXX and expecting a response in 45 days? Is this same as Service Request? Will this help? I already took infopass appointment and met an IO. The IO was saying both of my I-140s are in the same file as 485. But my question is how would they choose my application when USCIS did not port the priority?? Anybody in this situation please help!!

Remember to get a MS in Computer Science you have to complete a few prerequisites else no University would offer you the degree.
If your Prevailing Wage Requirement states the minimum requirement is MS in CS (and/or experience) you should be good.

Truly amazing performance! For 13 yrs us Pakistanis were proud of Saeed Anwar's 194 record, but I have to say I don't mind at all that its finally broken by a class act that is Tendulkar. Definitely the best batsman of all time!

Thanks mp70 for sharing the information. Your experience has helped me with two worries. My 797 was approved in June end and I am going for stamping at Chennai at the end of July. You put my worries with the short gap PIMS verification issues to an end.
It is good to know that there is a separate counter for revalidation. Did the officer ask any information for dependents H4 visa?
Also, did you do anything to check whether your petition was present in the PIMS database?

Lately the members of IV have come to know that Aman Kapoor, the co-founder of IV has sold his house and spent around $64000/- towards the administrative costs of IV. This too was brought to our attention from a regular member like you and me, without which this would not have come to our knowledge at all.
So some of the members have taken an initiative to reimburse Aman and other core IV team members with the expenses they have incurred so far towards the administrative costs of IV. Note that the time they have spent and the sufferings cannot be compensated. Let us do the least by atleast compensating the money. Please do not donate directly to IV funds.
There is a funding drive in this other thread towards reimbursing the administrative costs of IV.
