Get a $100 inkjet cd/dvd printer. I use the Epson R320 (has a few more bells and whistles). You can Google images and print just about any kind of image on your discs. They look GREAT!
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

I have a R200 and made a bulk-in to save some money on ink... but i'm not so much satisfied... original ink looks better anyway.
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

Don't you guys realize that the reason all these half credible sources are saying all this wishy washy stuff is because Apple is keeping this launch under tighter wraps than any other after what happened with the iPhone 4. Regardless of what they do, we all know it will be phenomenal and ground breaking, but I seriously doubt anyone will get a sneak peak any time soon.

Using EyeTV for Wii/PS3/X360 causes a noticeable lag which can't be fixed. You need composite to MDP converter and then use iMac in Target Display Mode in order to get no lag

Has anyone heard of a mac version of PTE, I used to have a windows computer and would use PTE everyday to download Power tabs from ultimate-guitar.com however recently our family got a mac and I can't get it to work. Is there any alternative besides VMware to run this? I have had to get my tabs from music downloads (http://http://www.emusic.com/).

I'm sitting on 48-9k PPD right now. 950 @ 4ghz and 1750mhz on the shaders of the 460. Not too shabby.

Updated the Nvidia drivers to 266 and now the GTX 460s are both folding at 15K + each. That's an increase of 3-4k PPD each.

Okay! If you care so much about others, well, I need to pay off my law school loans. It will be better for the world as I am planning on being a top notch criminal prosecutor, and plan to put a LOT of criminals away. But of course, you do realise there's a difference between wanting everyone to get a fair deal and giving money away for free? You will get compensated for your work as a lawyer, you don't need my money. I just want to see that Atebits is compensated for his work as a dev.
My logic is that people should pay a fair amount for what they get, whereas in society today people only care about the monetary cheapness of things regardless of the wider cost. Cheap foods and electricity at the expensive of the environment, cheap clothes at the expensive of child labour etc.

Everyone understands that we live in a world which contains certain dangers which can be mitigated by changing our behaviors.
-Don't walk down dark alleys at 3am by yourself etc...
That isn't the point of this conversation, were all talking about BLAMING the victim in this case. Just because a victim makes a bad decision does not remove their reasonable expectation of safety.
If your start blaming victims for the crimes committed against them (and thus suggesting that the crime is ultimately their fault and within their control) it opens up a number of frightening possibilities.
-Mandated dress codes (for womens protection)
-Mandated curfew (because its dangerous to be outside at night)
Regardless of a persons bad decisions, we should not be blaming victims, we should always recognize that blame lays ONLY with the perpetrator of the crime. To do anything else generates a slippery slope which goes like this....
-Women must wear clothes that hide their knees
-Women must wear clothes that hide their calves
-Women must wear clothes that hide their ankles
-Women must hide all bare skin
-Women must never leave the home without being accompanied by a man to protect them
....All in the name of protecting women from assault.
