It might be difficult to switch to F1 from H1, especially after getting into the greencard process. Since the F1 visa is a non-immigrant type, you might need to demonstrate that you have no intention to immigrate.
Alternatively you could do the part time MBA on H1, if your employer is supportive of that. Full time MBA on an H1 could be dicey. You need to find out if it is doable with EAD status.

I filed Concurrently I485 and I140 on August 13 . I have recieved the application rejected notice due to missing signatures on the financial statement by my employer (Hard luck i guess or smartness by employer dont know). As per USCIS statetment they have requested to complete the Application as signed and sent back including the fee and form.
The notice havent mentioned to refile with new fee . COuld anyone please advise on urgent basis
if new fees is required ?
Would i still be assigned old processing date or it would be considered as new application ?

I talked to a CPA and he said as long as I submitted the tax returns it should be fine.
My address on salary slip was of california but they never deducted any taxes for CA.

A friend of mine, with similar credentials like yours (from what i can get from your post) got his GC thru EB2-NIW. He didn't have to go through lengthy labor process. His lawyer recommended against filing for EB-1. Please contact a lawyer and hope for the best

I need some serious help with my D50 equipment. I have no experience at all with SLR cameras, and have recently bought a bundle consisting of a Nikon D50 and a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S Dxlens. Now I am interested in buying another lens (The Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 AF Zoom Lens) in hope that these two lenses would suit my needs in amateur photography. I intend to photo landscapes, portraits and some ''macro'' (flowers and some insects). So, I would like to know if these lenses are an acceptable choice, having in mind that I can't afford to buy some expensive lenses, as my average monthly salary almost amounts to the price of these cheap ones. Thanks.

I am at AOS stage with approved I140, EAD and AP. My PD is Nov 2005 and I am in ROW.
I got following RFE.
My original birth certificate doesnot show the name of my mother as local laws in my country don't put mother's name on birth certificate.
My questions:
1. How should I answer RFE ?
2. Who should sign Affidavits ? My parents, grand parents , relatives etc ?
3. Can anyone send me format of Affidavit please
I will appreciate your help.

You can work as many hours as you like when on H1B. The only requirement is that you work for the SAME EMPLOYER that sponsored your H1B.
Letter for parents to come if required only when getting visa at the consulate (addresses to Consular Gen.). Nothing is needed at Port Of Entry. They are Immigration Officers at POE, but the only questions they will ask is where will they stay? What is your name? where you work? etc. Simple Qs.

H1-B is all sponser based. You just can't go to USCIS and say that give my wife H1-B. You need an employer who is willing to hire her, show how much he is willing to pay and many more things. You say for a license she needs SSN, so there is your answer

Its hard to believe that a H4 cannot convert to H1 on a dentist job for the lack of SSN - I am sure there must be many people who passed/going through such situation (H4 to H1 dentist) - just looking for someone to share their experience.
