Has anyone managed to withdraw money from TCS PF from Mumbai India?
If so, pls advise on the procedure for the same?

No forms would work because like a typical family owned blood sucker company, their PF is controlled by another TATA company and not the central govt. AND to get your hard earned money out of that another company, you need a clearance letter signed by some TCS HR personnel ..
You could see if the amount is worth going through the agony of talking to all BS..ing top brass in the company.. If it is, then make your heart of steel and go through it..
they would keep some money as their tip.. (maybe 20%) but give the remaining back to you..

Hello,
I am new to immigration talk so I might not use the right terms so I apoligize in advance. Here is our situation, my wife's green card case was approved 2 years ago but we are waiting for a visa number to become available.Our lawyer told her that we fall under the EB3 catagory.He also said our filing date is April2002 and the visa bulitin should show this date for us to get an invitation.
My wife really really hates her job and would like to quit today but the lawyer is saying we can not get the green card if she quits. He also tells us she can not work for another company because then we would need to start everything from scratch.
Can someone confirm this?
Is there a solution?
Does she have to keep working for this company forever?(seemslike EB3 dates arent moving)

Ok, here you go...
1. It doesn't matter how many years experience you have. Unless the job requires EB2 level requirements, you cannot apply EB2. If the job has the requirements and your education/exp match that...then you are EB2.
2. To your question yes you can file new EB2 without affecting your 485. Now, the problems you would face are at Labor and 140 stage trying to prove that your new job reqs are significantly different from the original. After that, changing 485 is not diffcult...(even if it's approved).

When my lawyer filed my application he stated that the applicant needed an undergrad degree and two years of work experience. I had two years worth of work experience in my current company when my application was filed with the department of labor.
My lawyer said that I can use experience gained in my current job prior to my labor being filed. Is this correct or is he giving me the short end of the stick ? I would appreciate any help you can provide me.

After an 2 years assume the project that I worked is closed. Initially the greencard was filed related to a requirement in the project. I got approved after 3 years. Since the project is closed, I cannot work on the project that was initially filed on Green card.

I am trying to fill the canadian visa application and would like to know what should I check on Question #8
a) citizen( obviously not)

c) Temporary resident
d)Worker
e) Student(obviously not)
It also asks valid until date(What should I put).I am no longer working on H1B as I am using EAD

Did your wife get your back on to H4 visa from H1? What was the procedure that you went with? I also am on H1 in the US and want to move back to H4. I plan to go to mexico and re-enter the US with my previous H4, which is valid till mid 2010. Is there any problem at the port of entry?

Mine rec date is july 2nd and notice date july 27th. Have got EAD, but not AP yet. Though I noticed two LUDs on my AP, 10/24 and 10/25
I received mine on Nov 3 and my ND is Sep 8.The surprising thing is my AP was approved & mailed out on Oct 31 based on LUD whereas on the AP it is Oct 10 (expires on Oct 9,2008 )which means I received the AP for 11 months and not for a yr.

I have decided to go for the SB-600 rather than the 800 because I don't think I need the extra functions at this point. It will save on $$$ and weight too.

You also have faster recharge since the flash is slightly less powerful but perfectly adequate... I was going to get an SB-800 but ended up with two SB-600s for now for the same price.
I will likely get one SB-800 (and maybe another SB-600) when I get my D2x so that I have commander mode available.
the two SB-600s I have have been great for the month I've had them - if your only body is a D70 you're golden - you can use the sb-5B-600 on remote and use the built in D70 flash as commander.

I don't know why they keep whining about bringing more H1s when they cannot provide for the ones already here? Even a layman would agree that more H1s without corresponding legislations to fix broken GC system would add fuel to the fire.

Usually, USCIS comes close to a grinding halt during the holiday season. People who see some progress in their applications during this period should consider themselves lucky. I would say people shouldn't bother too much until beginning of next year and should enjoy the holidays without any undue stress or tension.

What is that thing called as interfiling ? I guess, you need to file an amendment saying that instead of using that labor, use this labor. Somebody explained this process in some other forum. Here is the link:

I was not aware of the 120 days... I filed my wifes EAD day 138 days before expiry (should have been more carefull!)... So what happens now? Rejection? Denial? RFE?
Also what docs should be send after efiling, if any?

On Dec 14, 2007, I received an I-140 RFE for "ability to pay the offered wage".
According to the attorney, the RFE was responded to with necessary evidence.
On Apr 07, 2007 I received a I-140 denial notice stating that the RFE reply wasn't received on time. As a result it caused an automatic I-485 denial as well.
Now, I am not sure what my options are. Is it possible to ask USCIS to reconsider the case. Can i appeal?
Please advise.

On reading a bit about PIMS, it seems that if your information is not in the KCC, then the US consulate sends a request to Kentucky for information. It turns out KCC has access to the CLAIMS3 system used by the USCIS, and they generally respond in 48 hrs. Here is the link:
