I like the idea of being able to "buy" a free app on the phone without a password. My iTunes account password is a long mix of letters and numbers, and easy to type on a physical keyboard, but it's a pain in the ass to type out on the phone's funky keyboard just to update or grab free stuff.
As for the OP, I think Apple would have suffered a pretty bad PR rap if they didn't refund them.

Oh I forgot...yes...the "Specs" argument. My bad. AND the Closed vs. Open debate. Yes...that too. It's so open that I can't upgrade to the latest Android version, because it's not available for carrier XYZ. But that's not Android's fault, or the Phone's fault. You can root it though. That's awesome...root it, then download the newest launcher, then reset it, and do this, and do that. Then when that's all done, it's no better than it was when I started. But hey, my icons are Green! Cool...

I'm not saying this is fake but I work for AT&T Business Care for billing and some technical calls. We haven't been told this information yet so I don't see why that person would know. The only information we've been getting lately is the progress on AT&T buying T-Mobile.

i'd love if every application would have a different "top bar" color. that would be great for fast recognition/switching between apps,

I've had about 6 kernel panics in about a time span of 2 months.
This can be caused by a number of things (on any computer; not just on a Mac):
- Bad RAM. More likely if you've added a 3rd party stick yourself.
- Bad power supply.
- Faulty (or noisy/dirty) house wiring. More noticable with a desktop than a laptop since the laptop's transformer will help isolate the computer from the noise.

As if it doesn't cost apple any money to keep the server up and running and to hold your data.
Cloud services are a joke because there are so many places (at least in my area) where you cannot even get 3G speeds because the signal quality is so poor.
Furthermore, the area I work at blocks out cell reception so it would be pointless for me.
Another point is once this Cloud service is made they won't even bother updating iPod/iPhone capacities because they'll want you on the cloud service so they can get you to pay monthly fees for capacity.
Cloud storage is a terrible idea for multimedia storage.

Today's shot is a place I bet many of you didn't know existed. It is a "tourist/post card" picture, but I wanted to use it anyway just to see how many recognize it.
Well, considering you have posted a few shots from Hop-town, I am about 99.999% sure where it is, but I'll play along and see if anyone else has a guess. I may just have a slightly unfair advantage, even though I have never been to this site specifically ;)
The Cherokee Memorial Park in Hopkinsville, KY, is where Chief Whitepath and Fly Smith, a clan leader, are buried. This site was one of the ration stops along the Trail of Tears.

This is a really powerful shot. Great composition. I think the only thing that could make it better would perhaps be a little fill flash on the statues. I've really been enjoying your work. Just curious, if you don't mind me asking, what brought you to Hopkinsville? That's quite a ways from Atlanta.

Reading through all of these negative comments, I really hope that someone at Apple is paying attention or this information is relayed to them. They really need to know how ugly this thing is.

I think there is a hole in this argument/dream. Apple has spent considerable time and marketing money in the Made for iPod campaign that centers arounds the dock connector. They have created the Universal dock and inserts for all recent iPods, promising to keep these updated with all new iPods in the foreseeable future. Therefore, I seriously doubt these new no touch iPods wouldn't have at least a dock connector. .
The new Nike-Apple collaboration shows how Apple could get around this - simply a female dock receptacle, bluetooth (or whatever) configured to replace the physical dock connection. It would work for automobile interfaces, the iPhoto connection etc.
Apple could make a ton of cash "this simple connector - only available from Apple - allows all your iPod accessories to communicate with our new iMonolith iPod"... very 2001:)
