ya, do u think it's a RAM issue? i thought it might have to be cuz there's not much else it could be, but i didn't think it'd act the way it is... i have a dual 1.8 G5, but i dunno if i could use that RAM cuz it's PC3200, 400 MHZ.. it wouldn't work in the G4, right?

They used a sample from the song "What Am I Going To Do" by The Dovers. This single makes me extremely excited for his new album. I haven't ever really gotten into Deerhunter or Atlas Sound, but this single just might be good enough for me to try out both artists again.
Definitely looks like the album should be good based on that track.....i haven't got into Atlas Sound either, but i really like some of the Deerhunter stuff (Never Stops, Nothing Ever Happened, Saved By Old Times, Dr. Glass, couple others)

Well, according to this Gamespot news (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6168749.html?action=convert&om_clk=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;2) Bioshock is coming to the PS3 in september. Also announced that mounth is Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword and Killzone. Too bad I hoped that some of these games would be released sooner than that :(

Edit : Well seems that this is bogus according to Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/gaming/bioshock/bioshock-a-lock-for-ps3-250434.php). Personnally I don't really care as I own both system but felt that I needed to correct my post :) (Oh and Lair's coming in July :D)

I just picked up a DLO HomeDock HD @ Amazon. Retail is $299 but on sale for $34. The dock has on-board software and provides a "media center" like interface. It has its quirks but I like it...especially for the price.
The dock requires that it be connected to a TV. But if you're looking for something that integrates the iPod into a living room entertainment system, this thing is pretty cool.

I already have a mid-2009 13" and 15" MBP and an iPhone 4 GSM and was considering handing off my 13" MBP to my sister and moving to an iPad and more mobile devices.
I have no idea why but Verizon iPads don't seem to be moving much in my area of Georgia (no idea why). I have the option of going out and getting a black 16gb, 32gb, or 64gb at my local PeachMac the last I checked availability a few hours ago. I checked yesterday too. They're either getting a ton of Verizon models or they aren't moving them.
Anyways... I kind of considered the Verizon iPad as an opportunity for the best of both worlds. iPhone 4 with AT&T bands while having the option to use Verizon 3G whenever I need it. Anyone else done this?
I almost did, but then I considered the reports that GSM is much faster/snappier than CDMA in real world tests.
I cant imagine a scenario where I will be somewhere that I actually need to use gsm drastically and be in such a type of rare place where Verizon gets 3G and AT%T doesnt. Im talking Verizon getting 3G, not just reception. The legendary coverage is great for phones but with 3G there probably isnt a clear advantage (ie. if AT%T has no reception at the lake, but Verizon does, its still probably just phone reception with zero 3G either way for Verizon and AT%T
And if I was at the hypothetical lake I'd probably be having fun not busy web browsing. If anything, id play something offline and enjoy iPod.
So this scenaro is a lot more rare than it might seem, but what is not rare is that speed advantage of ATT 3G. I would benefit from that advantage daily.

does anyone know which code to use for back ground music that will work for both mac and PC?
The embed code will work but not all times on a PC but will work on a mac and the bg code will work with windows but not for the mac!

How could I skip the processor verify in order to install the new Lion beta in a CoreDuo MacBook 1,1.

An Apple Store employee just told us that if everyone in front of us bought 2, there would be no iPads left by the time I got into the store. I think they are being a little conservative, but it's still possible that there won't be the exact model wanted when I arrive at my turn. I am in front of the side entrance to banana republic near JC Penny. I am still cautiously optimistic.
