I don't have a PS3, so I can't test this, but it looks like you should be able to force the PS3 to output audio separately from HDMI. It sounds like you can get away with just regular component cables for sound (as long as you don't want 5.1 or 7.1 surround), but take a look here (http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/audiooutput.html) and see if you can make sense of it. Like I say, I don't have a PS3, so I'm just guessing...
Yep, you can do that, I have with mine.

My iPod had a really bad accident this morning so I am in need of a new one. I don't care what gen, what model, as long as it looks "ok" (no major scratches in the front, no major dents ect). Here is what I have to trade for it.
DS:
Silver color (minor paint scratches on top case,no scratches in plastic.)
3 games (Asphalt Urban GT, Nintendogs, Metriod Hunters demo)
2 Nintendo cases
5 Styli
AC charger
Origonal box for the Metroid Demo and its manuals
PS2
2 controllers
memory card
broadband modem
DVD remote
RF adapter
Regular AV cables
8 games
This is the fat model, not slim. I will have more info on it once it get it (On the 30th)
Blueberry iMac
333mhz G3
6 megs of V-ram ATI rage pro ultra
160 megs of ram (it is a 256 chip but it does not see all of it!??!?)
no HD (I probally can find a 6 gigger around here)
CoolMac Keyboard and puck mouse
24x CD-ROM (the front faceplate has been fixed. It does not affect its usage or the looks.)
Stuff:
Targus laptop case (it held my 1400c and the Stylewriter 2200 with room to spare.)
Family Guy: Frekin' Sweet Collection
Rev. A-D iMac modem
Powerbook 8x CD-ROM drive (Pulled from a 1400c.) Still has the faceplate on snug.
Powerbook Floppy drive (again, from a 1400c) Works!
CoolMac Keyboard (white/clear)
Axis Game pad (Blue/clear, looks like a Playstation controller. Also has a PC game port to USB adapter on it so it does work with PC and Mac needs NO drivers)
Powerbook 500 series AC adaptor (with power cable)
Apple Color Stylewriter 2200 (portable) with working battery, some extra ink packs drivers (on floppys)
box o' parts PM for whats inside :D
Again, I need one ASAP (music withdrawl :P ) POST offers.

You sure?!? I haven't heard anything on TSS to that extent (maybe I missed it), they did mentioned the keynote and MR, but I don't think that they said that they were going to be broadcasting it, how do you know?
Cause well, I got TechTV too but my local Apple Store (Bellevue, WA) is saying that they're not carrying it, and was kinda upset on that regards.

After you zap the PRAM, and the PMU it wont work? I recommend what someone else said, you could play with the RAM and see if that makes any difference but really it doesn't look good for that iMac.

It's an iPod so not much to worry about. Just DFU mode and restore it. Jailbreak again with redsn0w. It will be tethered for now.

It is silly and ridiculous, no?
Maybe we should all be tree hugging hippies?
Btw, you are lying in your OP, as you got your MBA quite a while ago. Why is that? Do you want to fraud something out of Apple? Do you need some bees to go along with the fruit cake?

The new iMacs can power external displays but can't be used as screens themselves. Apple took away that feature in this revision.

I wouldn't, the quad G5's have major liquid coolant problems that can destroy the machine, if you have to stick with powerpc then get another air cooled dual G5 but an early core 2 duo Intel Mac would be infinitely more future proof.

That makes the most sense to me as well.
But is there any actual proof of it because I'm going to need something to prove the point in the debate I'm having.

Coming from Windows it's very annoying to have to open two windows to move files between folders. I would much prefer being able to cut-and-paste files and folders.
That wouldn't be a good idea, as if you then cut or copied something else, the first item would be deleted for good.Windows actually handles this quite well. You can cut file(s)/folder(s) and if you cut or copy something else before pasting, the cut is cancelled and the original file(s)/folder(s) are back where they were as if nothing ever happened.

The display might be worth something, depending what model it is. The 2005WFP screen is particularly desirable as a quality panel that isn't available any more.
[EDIT] Your screen isn't one of those. A model number on the screen would be good. You are also going to need to look up the video card, the OS installed, (and whether it comes with discs) and the rest of the specs, so that you can describe your item accurately.
The Pentium machine (non-dual core) with 80 GB HD is sadly worth no more than $200 - $300, as new dualcore machines with warranties, 250 GB drives and 2 GB RAM regularly go on sale for $350. Dell sells refurbished off-lease and open box machines with warranty at http://www.dfsdirectsales.com/, which will provide a benchmark.
$293.00 3421148 DIMENSION 3000 INTEL PENTIUM IV 3.0 GHz WINDOWS XP PRO 80 GB
Figure out the size of the box and the weight, and go to USPS and UPS websites to calculate the shipping. It will depend on where its going, obviously. Figure on $35 - $60 shipping. You're probably best to sell it local through Craigslist or your local used classified sites.

You should probably download RemoveBackground from Cydia and set it through Activator. It'll help clear out anything running in the background and increase your RAM a bit. Seems to me something is running a lot in the background for you to be hovering around 100MB. The packages you have installed seem pretty "stock" so I doubt any of those would be the culprit.

I just changed my data plan from 200MB to 2GB a few days ago. The only thing you can't do is view your data usage until your next billing cycle begins.

I've done basic PHP dev on dialup when necessary...it's not a dream but it's functional. Image heavy sites or anything with flash or video content would have been a problem, though.

Busted woofer surrounds sound like cracking and flapping on loud bass. Blown tweeters just don't work and make the speaker sound muddy. I'm not sure what hissing is. Could be an amp issue. Try switching speakers to see if the problem moves with the suspected bad one.
THIS. cross check to isolate the issue to the spaker or amp. it could be that u badly damaged the amp section for that particular speaker out on your receiver. This is rather unusual because most modern receivers have a protection mode that limits wattage in order stop overdriving. but such safeguards can only do so much; if it was being driven for hours, it could have easily been damaged.

If you are leaving it connected to the Time Capsule, then you should not have to install any HFS+ drivers. You should be able to turn on Windows sharing and see it over the network as an SMB/CIFS share.
If you can already see the internal drive in your network you have Windows sharing turned on, otherwise use Airport Utility to turn it on first.
B
good point.
i last booted up my windoze machine many moons ago. i wasn't sure if the fact that i always could see the TC's drive (or the USB drive hanging off my extreme) was due to having MacDrive installed or not.

I have a 2009 Mac Mini with both mini-DVI->HDMI and mini-DisplayPort->HDMI - Both seem to work nicely, although I'm not sure if it supports HDCP or not. You could also try doing DVI into your TV
Does your VGA adapter work with a regular monitor?
Thanks.. Are you using a Sony Bravia? Ive used the miniDVI-VGA connection with several other LCD TVA and regular monitors. seems it's a problem specific to the bravia, and from what I've read others have had similar problems
but I havnt come across an explanation that isn't a guess, or a solution, or confirmation that using HDMI adaptors will work.
I would like to give the hdmi adaptor a try, but before I shell out for more cords I don't need....!
