1-800-375-5283 Option 1,2,2,6,2,2,1 and tell them your application has been filed over 90 days so that they will transfer your call to second level customer support.
For my case, she thought that maybe my application is missing, this is the reason that she sent a request to NSC to look for my application.
Because I got my AP receipt and there is no information for I-485, and AP is based on 485.
My employer messed up my perm labor two years ago, and i hope it is not this time.

$1000 is a lot for Premium Processing and VSC is profiting a lot from this. They are running a business for sure....
Its only extensions which are a long time.
USCIS is self-funded from application fees. They don't get any other funding as far as I know. So, sure they are running a business.
I know its not cheap, but atleast there is a way. I have been in this long enough to know times when it took a long time without an option of premium processing.
You can always make your employer pay for the fees.

Actually they did not move purposefully. Demand slowed down for visa numbers because long time the date was not moved. Another point is Companies like TCS,WIPRO are not applying GC and they are the ones using more H1bs. It could move back when demand increases but not so much like 2005. So always waiting time for EB3 will be 3 to 6 years and Eb2 2 to 4 years.

The timing of this visa bulletin is suspicious. Right at the nick of time, when the senate is discussing increasing EB quotas, this news comes in. Plus they are saying that there will be forward movement, in the EB cut-off dates in the coming months to rhyme with the current negotatitions in Congress on CIR/ SKIL.
IV should not step behind in their legislation efforts. Even, if visa bulletin dates are current today, they might retrogress later, when the I-485 application starts to process (Current I-485 processing time shows applications processing as of Sept. 10, 2006, which is 8 months before). No one knows, if eight months from now, the cut-off dates will retrogress further or advance, due to the BEC closing out in Sept. 2007 and PERM applications processed from March 2005 onwards.

I am also ready to join in the lawsuit.
I didn't presser my parents about the bc and i took INS doctors appointment next week, thinking that dates are current for complete month why rush? so I can't file by tomorrow
You did the right thing. Nothing is going to retrogress atleast till the 15th of the month(this is when the Visa bulletin usually comes out).

Just in-case one gets layed-off and has an EAD, can that person buy a 7-Eleven or a Gas Station?
Can the EAD holder actually run the gas station/7-eleven by working/being present there? (Maybe he/she can work there and take all the profit but no salary).
What happens if there is an RFE asking for proof of employment during this period?

i have been to mumbai consulate.
i suggest u go through VFS Service where they offer you a place to sit and take you to the consulate when its your time for the interview, otherwise you have to wait in queue for long. here is the website for VFS

On 2nd July, what time was your i-485 application received at NSC?
Hi,
My application reached NSC on july 2nd 10.25 am & the LUD on my I-140 was changed on July 28th still no receipt notice or the cheque got cashed. No idea whatz going????
So I guess the LUD change is nothing relevant to I-485 filing.
