Or you could just buy the TomTom iOS app for $39.99...
Let's not forget the Garmin app. It actually works very well.

Coconut Battery says it has a full charge (5020 or something), but the battery only lasts around 3-4 hours. Is this typical? It's got around 950 cycles.

I thought something was suspicious just looking at their feedback rating before reading their description. I guess that is what you get for dealing with someone with a cloudy past and not reading what you are bidding on or buying, that seller needs to be banned from eBay.

You are exactly what the forums needed to deal with the wave of spammers that have been striking as of late. I remember one member in particular (I won't name which one) had a post average of over 60 per day shortly after being banned. I know this because I checked that user's profile. 60 per day is almost surely spamming when even Mr. Anderson can't manage more than 16 legitimate posts per day - I haven't found any more active member.
I know who you mean, and that member I believe turned out to be another member in disguise who had already been banned for spamming!

What OS are you running and version and how did you get it to look that good?
It's Ubuntu Linux, with the Ambience Refined (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ambiance+Refined?content=125686) theme, Android fonts and the GNOME Do dock replacing the standard GNOME bottom panel. The desktop calender is Rainlendar Pro (which is also available for OS X) and syncs nicely with Google Calendar, so it pushes events to my iPhone. It's a really tasty setup if I'm honest, if I didn't need Logic, I'd be tempted to switch totally from OS X.

The best way to avoid the experience of the music industry is to respond to a changing market and give people what they want before they get mad enough to expend the effort to just take it and feel justified.
I couldn't agree with you more. The current model that the MPAA and the RIAA are trying to preserve is simply irrelevent with the advent of digital media as a realistic and easily obtainable alternative. They had a chance to embrace it and make serious changes to the way they do things (i.e. find some way to deliver content at essentially no cost to the consumer but still turn a profit through ads and other sponsorship, which would work because the cost of producing the content is decreasing really quickly) but they chose to fight it and they can't win. The iTS is a compromise between the two, but I'll stick to free media and pay to go to concerts for bands I like and see some movies in the theatres.

Another BS reply from Jobs...all the tip toe-ing around the questions and answers.
I don't expect him to come out and admit all the bad/evil/unethical things Apple is doing regarding this topic, but he had to come out and say something otherwise people (possibly rightly) will think Apple is evil.
As it was said tons of times, privacy is important. If something is being done to "track" me (no matter what other fancy terms they use for "track" or how much they down play it as some technical necessity) they are still tracking me. Period. Where that data goes and how it's used and how I am tracked should 100% be written in plain English before purchasing said product.
We're not idiots...of course the iPhone needs to figure out where I am when I ask Google to locate me on a map...or explicitly allow an app (like AroundMe) to identify restaurants within 15 miles of my location. But to constantly track me every single minute of the day is just wrong. Period. End of story.
Very likely this Federal lawsuit will pave the way for much clear disclosure by companies regarding tracking our physical movements.

I wonder what kind of upload bandwidth you need to broadcast full quality HD as I can imagine Skype/Facetime compress your video and lose a lot of quality, thus negating the need for an HD camera at all.
